The “Shoup Sisters” — that’s Cindy Shoup Cacy and Amy Shoup Mennen — will pitch their noted hog-burgers alongside host David Venable this Memorial Day on QVC. This will be the fourth time the sisters have been called up from the farm, by which we mean their day jobs at Shoup’s Country Foods in Frankfurth, Indiana, and made it to “The Show” on QVC.  The retailer has reportedly ordered up 42,000 hog-burgers, which will be sold in 24-pork-patty packs for approximately $38 (or $1.58 per burger).  The sisters will appear around midday during QVC’s “Summer Entertaining Made Easy” segment.  Journal & Courier (Indiana) May 29, 2010  WLFI TV 18 (West Lafayette, IN) May 28, 2010
