QVC's Rocky Mount, NC, Solar Farm
The one-megawatt solar electric farm has been built on five acres of QVC’s Rocky Mount distribution center. It sells electricity to the N.C. Electric Membership Corporation, the power supply organization for the state’s electric cooperatives, which will return it to the grid for use by North Carolina consumers.
