In a press release today, Jewelry Television announced the publishing of a newly revised book, called the Guide to Gems & Jewelry.  This full-color educational guide — which details the histories and legends of gemstones as well gemstone formation, mining, cutting and design –  was edited by Gerald Sisk, a co-founder of JTV, who currently serves as executive vice president.  The book is scheduled for an exclusive release on JTV, Jan. 28.

Earlier this month, Gerald Sisk helped lead JTV’s first annual international Gem Congress, which brought industry experts from many countries to JTV’s Tennessee headquarters for thepurpose of promoting innovation, collaboration, and transparency within the international gemstone community.

 

Never mind the marital difficulties of the most famous Kardashian daughter, mom Kris Jenner keeps the marketing juggernaut humming right along.  From the QVC compound in eastern Pennsylvania, she posted to her Celebuzz blog about her appearance on the network tonight between 7 and 10 p.m. ET.  Jenner will push apparel and a new memoir, Kris Jenner and All Things KardashianShe promised that a top very similar to the one she wears on her book cover will be among the items on offer this evening.

 

Quick-and-easy-cooking guru Mr. Food—a.k.a. Art Ginsburg— will appear on QVC at noon ET Sunday to sell his new cookbook “Mr. Food TV Favorites.”  Ginsburg will demonstrate some of the most popular dishes from his 30-year TV food career, including Sweet-and-Sour Meatballs, Mexican Tortilla Soup and Garlic Lover’s Chicken.  The book retails for $19.12 on the QVC siteThe Sun Sentinel (FL) Jul. 16, 2010

 

Anne Byrn, a.k.a.
