L. Tremain, Inc., creators of the Original Butter Bell® crock announced that it has filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, against Paula Deen, Paula Deen Enterprises, LLC, and Meyer Trading Company, Ltd., over trademark infringement involving the Butter Bell® trademark and Deen’s appearance on QVC in which she promoted her own product as the Butter Bell® crock.
